The functionality is not included in this app. We found very frequently that none of the apps operated correctly on board. They frequently froze and had to be restarted. Basically they did not work as designed. The apps constantly ask you to login. Half of the time the login process works and the other half of the time the login process fails.
We normally noticed the logins would fail for everybody in our group not just a single user. The message notifications simply do not work. None of us ever one time received a notification of a message sent on board. The crew on board the ship will tell you that the application would replace the Princess Patter. If the app were designed correctly and working properly it might replace the printed version.
Princess is very far from that goal. We all liked the apps when they worked. The ability to locate folks is good. But, it worked sporadically. Stop Ridiculous Charges. Prevent apps from taking your money without permission. Get a free Virtual Credit Card to signup for Subscriptions. Both my spouse and i have problems with the medallion app freezing up all the time.
After 35 minutes on hold the tec person told me you don't need your phone anymore until you are on the ship. This isn't true because I have to update my health records 24 hours prior to boarding. She was able to get on and told me that I was in the green lane and I attempt to get on the site and was still unable to.
I have been a loyal Princess customer but this has been a stressful process and will be my last Princess cruise. I have cruise to Australia and back booked plus world cruise and I can not get this Medallion app to work it will load but then every time I scroll the screen up it just jumps back to the beginning if I do get another screen up it just jumps back to the beginning. Then it will just jump completely back to log in it is grate to computerize every thing but if it dose not work all it does is drive people away.
I have waited for hrs. Help One other comment Princess major voyages are made up, primarily of elderly people how do you expect them to navigate a system that is not ready to go live.
App freezes. Claims info not logged in but it is. Hard to sign in. Am a Platinum and booked whole family for more than 7 thousand and want to cry over this debacle. Very disappointed ans research indicates no great improvement. Poor customer retention tool We are embarrassed as we have been big seller of Princess. Sad Sad Sad. We had problems but Princess just don't want to know all the blame was put on us or the phone or the operating system.
I don't want to rely on my phone. We will not cruise with Princess again till they have an alternative. Most stressful holiday we have had.
Don't use Medallion. I am having difficulty downloading the app on my phone. Why cant we just fill out the required information on the website like before? Cruise vacations used to be simplified and stress free. It seems like this medallion class has complicated the whole process of getting ready for your cruise. Not sure why, as it appeared to be working last week.
I have the latest iOS on both devices. We bought aftermarket clips through Amazon which worked well for us. They are available for no charge. Options to customize are available. We are on the Enchantment on Dec 30, That's what I have.
Version 3. It still won't recognize my booking number. I also checked to see if the app needed an update or was recently updated and the answer to that is "no". It's not showing as having been updated or showing on the list of apps that need to be updated. Deleted it again, reinstalled it, but still only get the cloud option to download it. Still won't accept my booking number AND it tells me my address is wrong which it is not. I've check the Princess website and everything is fine there.

Did you change your PW or email address? The website login works fine for me. You may have to call and see. At one point I had 2 accounts I sailed with my parents when I was undre 18 and they had to move everything over to one account. Good luck! Should be same account in both places and same password. HBCcruiser has good notes. We actually have our own Princess webpage too, perhaps they are still working on it.
You all should have a look - very nice. Choices include your "tagalong" art, birthstone, national flag, zodiac sign, or celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries. I only got to look at that option one time, but the way I was reading it, I thought it stated they were magnets.
